Building a Dynasty to Inspire

Q: What ignited the spark in you to start a career as an entrepreneur?
A. Well, I decided that I wanted to begin the pathway to becoming an entrepreneur because I don’t like the idea of building someone's legacy for them, I would rather be the guy running everything and taking charge and to be able to build something and say it was all me rather than working myself for someone else’s goals. However I am not saying that is not fine, we are all built differently, the main thing I want for everyone is to enjoy their lives, if you work a 9-5 and take many vacations in a year and you can honestly say you are happy with the way you are living than make sure that’s what you do, the key thing in life is to be happy but for me I can’t imagine myself working for someone else and being told what to do.

Q: What motivates you?
A. What motivates me is me realising how badly I need to make it. I want to be the best version of myself possible, I don’t want to be stuck doing something I don’t want to  do for the rest of my life so I have to make sure that I am grinding to the core in order to make my ambitions my world and reality, a lot of people say they want something but are your actions proving it? People don’t understand that there are days when you’ll sleep for a couple of hours and a lot of people are not willing to sacrifice small things like parties and playing video games. Every second count in this world of entrepreneurship.

Q: How do you generate ideas?
A. I generate my ideas various different ways, sometimes they will just come to me or when’s  I am gazing around I would have seen something another brand might have done and thought to myself let me make this better and change it to a completely different thing. Also shout out to my good friend Tobi, even with him running his Youtube page he has spent nights with me till the early mornings helping me work on designs, I think you need friends like that. A lot of people try and look for the best people and end up having to pay them huge amounts of money, whereas I have simply looked at what is right in front of me which is a lifelong friend who has very good skills in his field and is able to give me a hand whenever necessary.

Q: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur and why?
A. I would say the top three skills you need are. Patience, Hard work and self-responsibility. You need to be patient and realise that it is not going to happen straight away when there are guys who have been grafting for many years and people start complaining after a few months or a couple years. You need to have a mindset that will allow you to take all the crap that comes your way and you need to thrive on it instead of looking at it as a negative. Hard work is very important too. A lot of people sell themselves to others saying that they have worked for this long etc but if you haven't been productive in all of those hours what was the point? It isn’t about how long you put in it is about what you do in the time you put in, however, you should still put in a substantial amount of hours. I know everyone does have different situations and I do understand but if you really want it you are going to have to go through your worst. If you have a side hustle like another job then you should spend more time on your dreams than you do building the other person dreams. Lastly, self-responsibility. People need to be able to take the blame for everything that happens and stop trying to pin it on other reasons, once you get past this stage you will be able to fix the errors quicker and get on with the hustle.

Q: Describe your typical day?
A. My typical day involves a lot to be honest, as well as an entrepreneur I am also a footballer, so I wake up and my early day  consists of training and gym work then the rest of the day is purely business, this involves a number of things such as working, researching, reading books, dealing with enquiries, there is really a lot to do and it is so important to always keep yourself educated and keep learning new things.

Q: What has been the greatest moment of success for you so far?
A. My greatest moment of success so far, hm... I  haven’t got one, there has been a lot of great things that have happened and I don’t want to just limit it to one thing but what I will say  is that there is still a long way to go and I am ready for that journey

Q: What tips do you have for young people out there?
A. For all the young people out there I would say don’t give up on your dreams and do not think entrepreneurship isn’t for you if you fail at one thing, entrepreneurship is a very wide market if clothing fails maybe try forex if that fails try media. I don’t know, just keep looking into it and keep exploring your options and you will find what is right for you and a piece of general advice is that you should never give up on your dreams, do what you want to do. You only have one life do you really want to die and say I wonder what  would have happened, don’t live with any regrets make sure you go for what you want and get it!
